My Children Making Christmas Gifts for their Teachers

My children know how much it means to people, if they take the time to make home made gifts! Every year we make gifts for: Their Teachers! My Co-Workers! and Loved Ones!  They have been busy making things on their own, and we had two projects we did together!

Scrapbooking Injury -

Well I broke down and went to the clinic when it opened.  I am all stitched up and have pain killers, since I type for a living, I think I amy need them.  I appoligise in advance to those of you who do not get christmas cards this year, as I am out of commission.

Club Christmas Party

Our Scrapbooking club had a wonderful evening at Karen's last night celebrating Christmas. We had great food catered by Triple "G" Catering, good wine, a rich dessert, and best of all, the best group of friends you could ask for! We ate, we exchanged gifts and we laughed!

A Rich Adult Dessert!

This is something I throw together any time I want to

serve something decadent!

Amounts very according to taste and the number you are serving,

mix it up and have fun with it!

Basic ingredients listed below, layer them in a bowl!

Cake flavoryour choice broken into chunks

Drizzle with liquor

Fruit fresh or frozen

Dream whip and/or pudding

Layer to the full depth of you bowl

Last layer is dream whip

Sprinkle with fruit

Shave some chocolate on top

Scrapbooking Injury

I never thought that I would have to ponder going to the hospital over a scrapbooking injury, but Saturday night that is just what I was doing. After using heavy duty snip's to cut the back off of brass buttons to put on an acrylic album, and slipping and cutting a one inch piece out of my hand. But knowing I would probably sit in emergency all night, we decided to use butterfly stitches and wrap it up. We will wait until Sunday and see what it looks like! And as you can imagine, I can only type with one hand!

My Black and Silver themed Christmas card was inspired by the purple Christmas Card that was taught at our Retreat by my friend and paper craft colleague "Catherine Black", she is a very talented paper crafter and I have been inspired by her work many times. It seems that around my friends the Christmas Spirit is a little low this year! Unfortunately I have been bitten by the Scrugg Bug myself! I have small children so there is no room in my house for "Scroogville"! So I am making Christmas Cards' I have to say much later than usual, and I am searching the my personal Christmas Spirit! Its out there it just has not visited me yet, which is unusual, as anyone who knows me would tell you, the Christmas Spirit usually grabs me around September! Go Figure! Hope you like the card!

These are the Christmas Cards my Daughter is making, it is a great little kits that has supplies to make 4 cards that you can get at the dollar store, it comes with instructions but she has her own way of doing things, that's my girl!

My Son the Goalie

I was very proud of my little goalie today, his team played in a out of town tournament in Woodville! They played some tough teams and played their hearts out.
