Who Am I - Post eighteen

This is 1999, of course I am bigger!
I have now been married 1.5 years, have been in my position job 3 years!
We have purchased our first home.
Been pregnant once and lost that baby at 12 weeks.
The night before I left for this managers conference in Banff, I found out I was pregnant for the second time.

I had a great time in Banff, I was the only female manager in my zone, and I was great friends with the 11 male managers, they all took great care of me, and we had a blast.  We stayed at the Banff Springs Hotel for 3 or 4 day, and had lots of free time.  Unfortunatly because I was pregnant, there was not drinking, no hot springs, and no skiing.

Who Am I - Post seventeen

This was a very busy time in my life!
Therefore an easy time to let more weight pack on!
I was helping my sister-in-law to be plan their wedding, changing positions within Rogers which included a promotion and a lot more responsibility and planning my wedding.
When you are planning your wedding most people loose weight, I gained! In these pictures the difference in me is clear and I am starting to really notice and acknowledge it, but I still did not do anything to stop it.

Who Am I - Post sixteen

These are pictures taken at our friends cottage on Crystal Lake.
This is when I first realized that the weight was starting to pack on!
Did I do anything about it, NO, I had another drink and found ways to be hidden in pictures, so I would not have to face the reality of my weight gain!
Mistake #1!!!

These are two more pictures of when I felt absolutly amazing!

They are the first trip I took with my husband to Niagra Falls, and our first  Christmas.
My frind Donna who also made my wedding dress, made this beautiful short velvet dress for me. I have it hanging in my closet and will never part with it, even though right now I probably couldn't do it up around one of my legs.

Who Am I - Post fourteen

These are two of my very favorite pictures!

I was happy, healthy, worked out 6 days a week and actually felt beautiful during this time in my life.

The first one is of the day I reached my goal weight with Weight Watchers. I had spent the better part of a year taking off about 60-80 lb, I don't really remember now, and I was in the best shape of my life, and all of my eating disorder demon’s had been chased away.

The Second picture is of my husband of me at one of his dad promotion ceremonies for the Canadian Armed Forces, this is the only picture of us with my husband in his dress uniform.

Stampn' up Card Class with Catherine Black

Who Am I - Post thirteen

These are some Random pictures of me. The top picture of me is during my first battle with eating disorders. I am in Cozumel Mexico, and I saw a fat girl when I looked in the mirror. This was the first time I ever let my stomach show and it was only because I was in another country.

The bottom two pictures are my college graduation, in 1992, I spent about 3 years part time doing my Business Diploma part time, while working full time. The purple dress was for my commencement ceremony that I wore under my cap and gown.  The pin is my alumni pin for Seneca College.

Who Am I - Post twelve

The top picture is of my first car, it is a mustang, I know its hard to believe, but yes its an ugly mustang, it was my first car and I liked it.

A year later I bought my first brand new car, it is a "Horizon", this car cost me $7000 in 1989.  I loved this car and it took me everywhere.  I think I had it for about 8 years.

Who Am I - Post eleven

Well I have not done any "Who am I" post for awhile so I thought I would get back at it.

In the first picture it is me at about 2 or so holding a bunch of kittens, and for those of you who know my family, I am assuming this is our house while my Dad was doing the addition, because this was my Mom's old sewing machine! That is the only thing I recognize.

In the second picture I am giving my Dad a straight razor shave. In between high school, college and work I also did my Hair Dressing license. When I was doing my license, you need people to practice on. Usually it is random people who like the really low prices of the schools salon, a lot of senior citizens really. You also had to do a barbering section, my Dad drove to my school every day so I could shave him!

Flutterby Wednesday #95 and Quixotic Challanges #12 I Believe in Faries

I was inspired to try the Flutterby Wednesday Challenge over at my friend Karen's Blog.  Karen is a Designer for Flutterby Wednesday and I always see her creations. This Farie Portrait of my daughter seemed perfect for this challenge.  I also found the blog Quixotic Challanges and this week it is I believe if Faries, so I thought this was so perfect, I entered it there also!
I hope you like it.

Makayla's hair was long enough for her to sit on, but after sleeping in sponge rollers all night and keeping them in until just before the photo was taken, we created the wonderful thick ringlett's for her Farrie Portrait!

I have stamped 2 sizes of butterflies in the background, also used some butterflies punched out and on popups, rinestone butterflies, and hand made flowers in co-ordinating colours. I am trying to make alot of my embelishments so they all match.

Just Buggin' Challenge #22

Challenge #22 -All About Food
The challenge is to make a food themed project.
It can be a treat container, food themed layout, card etc...

The Cartridges I used are "Noel" and "Wild Card"!

I am really enjoying the Just Buggin' Challenges because I am looking deep into my Cricut Cartridge collection and really using them.  I have so many great images that I normally would have looked right past, I really appreciate them alot more now!

This is Christmas 2007!
It is Christmas Day and the Children are very happily digging into the Ginger Bread House that they made on Christmas Eve Day.
