This is a "coaster frame" made with, regual drink coasters and decorated with

"Creataive Memories Paper and Hinges", and misc. embelishments I had.

it was tricky at first, I learned the hard way you have to

heat set your image before you colour it or the lines smugg!

If you use your embossing gun and heat set the lines,

you are good to go!

I have to be honest and say that when I saw this card kit in the new CLOSE TO MY HEART CATALOGUE that will be released and products available for purchase on September 1, 2009, I was not that impressed BUT.......let me tell you when I saw it in person and added a little glitter here and there I quickly changed my mind!! The cards are very old fashioned looking and with the pop ups and glitter it brings them into modern times! Very Nice Card Kit!

Laird Memorial Cup 2009

We faced every type of weather but snow during the

"Laird Memorial Cup 2009" Soccer Tournament this Weekend!

Our Son's team placed 2nd!
Our Daughter's team placed 3rd!

Our Daughter was a bit more complicated!

For the first time ever in history of the tourney they had a 3 way tie for points, for first place. They did a coin toss to see who would play in the Championship round, and who would play in the bronze round, and unfortunately our team lost the coin toss!

So our girls played for the bronze metal and thank goodness they won because they went from being guaranteed gold or silver,to having to battle for bronze.
