8 More Sleeps and Counting

Well Ladies, 8 more sleeps as our little ones say! Karen and I visited the Salvation Army Convention Centre today, it was Karen's first visit and she was impressed. The rooms are quite nice, and the food that was cooking for today's lunch certainly smelled YUMMY!

I am busy starting to pack my many, many scrapbooking tools, papers, embellishments ...... etc.

We have had an amazing responce to our first retreat, we are 25 scrapbookers!

I can't wait to see you all there!

Let's Go on an Adventure Part 2

When we went out to the woods we also collected enough greenery and berries to decorate our flower box it the back yard, it looks nice all winter! We have lots of skating parties (my hubby builds a big ice rink for the kids) and bond fires in the winter so its nice to decorate the back yard also. We will make two hanging baskets also. Then from the vines in our own yard and pine cones from our tree's we will make some wreaths for the doors and maybe for the gazibo we are building over the hot tub on our back deck! The sky is the limit!

Let's Go on an Adventure

My Daughter and I headed out to the woods on Sunday, it was such a nice day!

She didn't remember that when they were very small when I said "Let's go on an Adventure", it meant we were headed to the woods to look for things to make outdoor arrangements, rocks for the garden, pine cones, or anything else we may have needed. She laughed so hard when we were talking about all our past "Adventures", and we had a great time looking for our supplies for our deck arrangement.
