Laird Memorial Cup 2009

We faced every type of weather but snow during the

"Laird Memorial Cup 2009" Soccer Tournament this Weekend!

Our Son's team placed 2nd!
Our Daughter's team placed 3rd!

Our Daughter was a bit more complicated!

For the first time ever in history of the tourney they had a 3 way tie for points, for first place. They did a coin toss to see who would play in the Championship round, and who would play in the bronze round, and unfortunately our team lost the coin toss!

So our girls played for the bronze metal and thank goodness they won because they went from being guaranteed gold or silver,to having to battle for bronze.
