Who Am I - Post thirteen
These are some Random pictures of me. The top picture of me is during my first battle with eating disorders. I am in Cozumel Mexico, and I saw a fat girl when I looked in the mirror. This was the first time I ever let my stomach show and it was only because I was in another country.
The bottom two pictures are my college graduation, in 1992, I spent about 3 years part time doing my Business Diploma part time, while working full time. The purple dress was for my commencement ceremony that I wore under my cap and gown. The pin is my alumni pin for Seneca College.

Who Am I - Post twelve
The top picture is of my first car, it is a mustang, I know its hard to believe, but yes its an ugly mustang, it was my first car and I liked it.
A year later I bought my first brand new car, it is a "Horizon", this car cost me $7000 in 1989. I loved this car and it took me everywhere. I think I had it for about 8 years.

Who Am I - Post eleven
Well I have not done any "Who am I" post for awhile so I thought I would get back at it.
In the first picture it is me at about 2 or so holding a bunch of kittens, and for those of you who know my family, I am assuming this is our house while my Dad was doing the addition, because this was my Mom's old sewing machine! That is the only thing I recognize.
In the second picture I am giving my Dad a straight razor shave. In between high school, college and work I also did my Hair Dressing license. When I was doing my license, you need people to practice on. Usually it is random people who like the really low prices of the schools salon, a lot of senior citizens really. You also had to do a barbering section, my Dad drove to my school every day so I could shave him!

Flutterby Wednesday #95 and Quixotic Challanges #12 I Believe in Faries
I was inspired to try the Flutterby Wednesday Challenge over at my friend Karen's Blog. Karen is a Designer for Flutterby Wednesday and I always see her creations. This Farie Portrait of my daughter seemed perfect for this challenge. I also found the blog Quixotic Challanges and this week it is I believe if Faries, so I thought this was so perfect, I entered it there also!
I hope you like it.
Makayla's hair was long enough for her to sit on, but after sleeping in sponge rollers all night and keeping them in until just before the photo was taken, we created the wonderful thick ringlett's for her Farrie Portrait!
I have stamped 2 sizes of butterflies in the background, also used some butterflies punched out and on popups, rinestone butterflies, and hand made flowers in co-ordinating colours. I am trying to make alot of my embelishments so they all match.

Happy Valentines! Challenge #23 Just Buggin' and Frosted Design Valentines Challenge
Valentines Day!
Red, Hearts, Glitter, Candy, Love, Romance, Candle lit Dinners!
Am I Right?
Ok, so maybe that’s what a tradition girl’s wants! But what about the man, I guess it depends on which man! My husband is romantic his own way, but for him, he is an outdoorsy type, hunting, fishing, any sport, anything with a motor! So how do you get the sparkle of Valentines Day across with an outdoorsy theme, well I hope this is it!
Please tell me what you think!
Frosted Designs
Valentines Challenge - No Pink or Red!
challenge #23 Just Buggin' - Love ya
Make something for Valentine's Day using your Cricut.
For this Card I used the Campout Cartridge for the sign
& Wild Card Cartridge for the sentiment, grass and bullrush (some call it a cats tail)!
As always I distressed my paper, put some glitter pen on the "be my valentine" and fun flock on the bullrush.
For my Outdoors Man's Valentine!
Then I will use it as an embellishment in his scrapbook!

My little Goalie Played Out today!
My little goalie is Ranked the #1 Goalie in Novice right now, with the lowest points against average. His team is doing so well working together, they as a team have only lost one game all season. They are a Great Team, with a Great Coaching Staff, and Wonderful Supportive Parents!
The BEST part is they are also HAVING FUN!!!!!!
But that being said, (mothers have to brag sometimes), today my little goalie really wanted to play an out position, so the coach arranged for he and another player to switch! Congrat's to both boys for playing a wonderful game in postions they are not used to!
They both did a great job and had some fun.
We won 8 to 2.
I am so proud of my little goalie for telling his team mate what a "great job" he did playing the goalie postion today! He makes me proud.
So here I am, totally unmotivated! Uninspired even though I have many blogs on my list that have tones on inspiration. No pictures calling my name to be scrapbooked even though I have hundreds printed.
I hate cleaning, but do it as we all do! But for me to have cleaned my pretty little powder room until it sparkles instead of scrapbooking when I had the chance is out of charactor.
I hope this trend does not continue!
Hopefully Sunday I will feel inspired, oh, lol, I guess it is Sunday, lets hope I am inspired later then.

Hunting Layout
These are 2 12x12 layouts, of my husbands hunting trip this past fall. I have to say I thought, once, twice, a hundred times about weither to post this or not, as I would not want to offend anyone.
It is a smiple layout with stamping and the moose were cut with my cricut, then instead of using the actual cutouts I used the negative piece left over and sponged them instead, they look more real.
My husband really liked it and I hope some of you do to.

I am top three over at Just Buggin: Challenge 21 Monocromatic
This is the Comment on my layout From Just Buggin!
I thought this layout was beautiful and to me summed up what scrap booking is all about. I thought both the design and the colour was stunning. I am not sure what cartridge Kelli used (maybe you could leave us a comment Kelli to let us know). I really enjoyed reading the history behind these photos - hop on over to Kelli's blog to read her article.

Who Am I - Post ten
It's Baby time!
Cricut and Cartridge "Noel" for the rocking horses, Martha Stewart Punches for the fence & scallops and stampin' up punch for the flowers
Well here I am with my very dear friend Patricia at her baby shower, she was due almost 3 months before me, but since my baby was in a hurry,
they are only a few weeks apart.
The day this photo of me was taken of me in labor, with my husband, It was a Friday, I still had a month of work, It was a work day and My husband had stayed up most of the night planning a surprise road trip to some bread and breakfasts in the United States, as a relaxing last trip for me before the baby arrive.....that didn't work out! Not long after he came to bed, my water broke at 3am, a month early, of course being my first delivery, I thought I pee'd the bed. So a month premature,
we welcomed on Saturday night our Daughter Makayla.
To be honest with you, I loved being pregnant, even with all the issues I had keeping babies to term, and miscarriage, I was so happy pregnant, loved every minute of it. This is also the time I started coming to terms with my new body and gained lots of self esteem and self confidence.

Who Am I - Post nine - Wedding Again!
This has a very distressed background, lots of glitter and flowers of the same colour! The pearls and daisies really bring thru that wedding feel.
This is 1997, a time in my life where there were lots of changes!
In a matter of a year we;
Got Married
Purchased Our First Home
Got Pregnant with our first baby
and miscarried for the first time.
Wow, a lot in one year! This is also when I packed on most of this weight I am carrying around. My dress is beautiful, it's one of a kind, designed and made just for me. I choose everything down to the last pearl! But when I look at it now, I realize, I was shopping for the "fat girl" covering up everything! I remember saying the sleeve needs to be a little longer, a little longer, maybe a little longer......Lord knows it was so hot you could barely breath on the beach were we got married......but I needed to be covered up.....If I could do it over, let me tell you I would be wearing a much cooler dress, still very formal and detailed but maybe strapless or tank style at the top, and my poor husband could them be dressed in linen pants and a nice shirt blowing in the breeze instead of a tux....Its a matter of excepting ourselves for who we are, and becoming comfortable in our own skins.
Now in saying that, I loved my wedding and my pictures in very formal attire on the beach, I think they are stunning, but oh man were we hot!!!!

Well I usually try to do only one post a day, you know spread them out a bit.
But today is an exception, my husband and kiddies looks so sweet all bundled up and heading out to the fish hut to do some fish'n! I could not wait til tomorrow to post this picture!
With any luck it will be a fish fry tonight!
Hopefully Dad will remember to take some pictures out on the lake and I can post them also!
